Before your wax
- Let hair grow to about 0.5 cm – roughly two to three weeks after shaving.
- Avoid exfoliating, tanning and sunbeds on the area for 24 hours before.
- Tell me if you use retinoids or acne medication, as they can make skin more sensitive to waxing.
After your wax
- Avoid hot baths, saunas, the gym, swimming and tight clothing for 24–48 hours.
- Skip fake tan and perfumed products on the area for a day or two.
- Start gentle exfoliation a few days later to help prevent ingrown hairs.

What’s the difference between a Brazilian and a Hollywood wax?
A Brazilian removes almost all hair but leaves a small strip or triangle at the front. A Hollywood removes everything.
How long does my hair need to be for waxing?
About 0.5 cm, which is usually two to three weeks of growth after shaving. If it’s much longer, it can be trimmed before waxing.
Does a Brazilian wax hurt?
There’s some discomfort, especially the first time, but it gets easier with regular waxing. Quality wax and a quick, confident technique keep it as comfortable as possible.
How long do waxing results last?
Usually three to five weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows. Regular waxing often makes regrowth finer over time.
Do I need a patch test for eyebrow or eyelash tinting?
Yes – a skin test is needed at least 48 hours before a tint. Mention it when you book.
